Finding that happy medium is somewhat of a challenge. Especially when it comes to low income schools, where families are less likely to have access to technology, it is even more important to provide those opportunities to children so they do not fall behind their peers.Autumn (It's Autumn's Life)https://www.blogger.com/profile/04370645239639985051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630720384912710630.post-60815334499649011352011-11-09T18:32:36.531-08:002011-11-09T18:32:36.531-08:00I feel children are always going to know way more ...I feel children are always going to know way more than we ever will. As teachers we need to try to stay either ahead or at least with the game because we are here to find useful and meaningful ways to help our students.A Teacher's Literary Blobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00480933090227094499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630720384912710630.post-4239378970532491782011-11-08T21:25:24.776-08:002011-11-08T21:25:24.776-08:00It's true! Generally speaking, the babies and children know more about technology than we did at their age--that is because they are overwhelmed with much more technological opportunities than we had. Although some people see this rapid change as threatening, I agree with you, Hollie, in that it is important to prepare them for such advancement.Miss Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15614599988205675505noreply@blogger.com
